Frequently Asked Questions

If you want both strategic planning and real-time navigation, the bundle gives you the most complete experience. Many travelers use the guide to plan at home and the map while they’re on the road.

No. This gives you the tools to build your own itinerary with clarity and confidence. If you prefer a ready-made day-by-day plan, explore the itineraries instead.

While you might find other travel guides or maps online, you won’t find this level of detail anywhere else.

For example, others might put a pin of a hot spring on their map. You’ll see where it’s located on the map, but you won’t see much else.

But my Iceland map will pin a hot spring and have everything you need to know about it in the description. From opening hours to admission fees, to whether there’s food onsite, and whether there are changing rooms.

This isn’t just a map to gather inspiration. I’ve done ALL the heavy lifting for you. My guidebook & map make it SO convenient while you are driving around Iceland because you have everything you need at your fingertips.

Absolutely. The guide is delivered as a simple PDF, and the map works inside the Google Maps app. Clear instructions are included to help you access everything easily.

After purchase, you’ll receive clear step-by-step instructions by email on how to access the interactive map.

The map opens directly inside the Google Maps app and becomes part of your saved maps.

There is no separate platform or login.

Important: The map must be used within the Google Maps app. It cannot be downloaded, edited, printed, or exported. An internet connection is required for full functionality.

We use this map to help our second trip to Iceland a car drive from Reykjavík to South Iceland. The map helped us find hidden gems, parking, bathrooms, etc. Jeanne has a wealth of information on her YouTube channel and blogs.

I’m so glad I found this right in time. I had already made the planning and reservations in advance. But without your help I would not have known which places to visit. I really appreciate the information on parking and the pro tips you’ve provided. They were really so much helpful for me. Thank you so much! I’m definitely gonna visit again and this time I’m gonna use these materials thoroughly for the planning phase.

We used the travel map and guide to plan a 5 day trip along the south all the way to the small towns in the Eastfjords. Such a great investment to make sure we were efficient with our limited time on the island.

I first bought this guide in 2022 and updated it for a recent trip. It has been priceless both times.
We plan our major stops and fill in the gaps around them. The map and guide make that easy. They show what is nearby, like a bakery outside Vík or a quick stop at a waterfall, glacier, or lava field.
One tip: save the map link in favorites and pay for additional users; driver's and passenger's devices. It sometimes disappeared from Google Maps, so having a backup was clutch.
I wish this existed for other regions, like the Road to Hana guide in Maui. Five stars.

I planned for months and still found the Iceland Travel Map to be really helpful for my 10-day trip around the Ring Road. It was great to see “hidden gems” that were nearby when we had some extra time and I found the information included on the pin descriptions to be quite helpful. I also liked that the pins were specific for parking lots as many of the generic google pins led you to the site, but not the place you needed to go to park. All in all it was worth every penny and saved us valuable time.

We visited Iceland for the first time in May on a tour. Learned a lot about the culture, traditions and what a beautiful country it is! Been watching the tips and posts even before our first trip. This guide and map are our compass to our next adventure. Easy to follow and saves a lot of time and guess work for planning! Thank you

I bought Jeannie's Iceland travel map and guide the first time back in 2023 when I visited Iceland and found it incredibly helpful. I recently just purchased her new and updated travel map and guide to plan for my 2026 visit back to Iceland. I find them so incredibly helpful and filled with all kinds of information related to anything you might need to know and I highly recommend it. I also encourage everyone to watch her videos for further help and assistance in planning your trip to Iceland.

We had purchased the Guidebooks and maps for our Iceland trip and these proved invaluable. The Ultimate Iceland map is a game changer once you are on the road in Iceland as it has pinned locations for everything you will need on your trip - attractions, fuel stations, cafes, accomodation etc. The “Gems” pinned on the map are especially useful as they pinpoint even the lesser known but really worth visiting attractions. The Ultimate Iceland map is a must for anyone doing a road trip in Iceland. Highly highly recommend.

I thought the Guide along with the Map helped me plan free time in Iceland and maximize my ability to find what I wanted to do. I'll be able to find places for snacks the day before and have picnics at my next days activities while most people will be envious. Ive done this on other trips and it makes things so more relaxing and enjoyable.
